Funding for Music Therapy

Private Pay/Out-of-pocket

Individual music therapy is billed per session at the time of service. Groups and classes are paid up front through our registration page.

Child Services Act

We have relationships with several nearby counties through the Child Services Act (CSA). If you are referring a client through CSA, please click here.

Related Service on the IEP

When music therapy is provided as a direct related service on the IEP, it is deemed necessary for the child to benefit from their education program. The need for a related service is determined by an evaluation conducted by a Board Certified Music Therapist, and is then considered by the IEP team at the school for addition to the student’s IEP. Please click here for more information on the process.

Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Music therapy services at Healing Sounds are considered a health/medical service, therefore we can process FSA/HSA/HRA debit and credit cards. Contact our office manager to learn more.
