Long Term Care Groups
Music therapy groups are our most popular service we provide. We travel to a number of long term care communities throughout the Richmond area, and we specialize in music for memory support. Music in this setting can provide comfort, promote fine and gross motor movement, create opportunity for socialization for older adults, increase communication, extra sensory stimulation, life review, music assisted relaxation, and promote cognition.

Music therapy in a social setting is ideal for populations such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Early Intervention, mental health and individuals struggling with anxiety. Groups are formed on a request only basis and we travel to communities to facilitate groups. Groups can be 6-8 weeks in length. Groups are held at our location at Willow Lawn on Fridays and Saturdays.
